Sittin' On the Dock of the Bay

Well!
I suppose I'll kick this summer off
with a little photo diary of what's been going on,
if any of you actually give a hoot...

Today, we celebrated my little sister's birthday.
We went to Seal Beach, which has this
lovely long pier that extends over
the Pacific Ocean.
At the end of it, there's a Ruby's Diner,
where we ate.

If any of you ever visit SoCal,
I would recommend stopping by ;)

We brought along seven of my little sister's cousins and friends.
Oh, the joys of looking after eight squealy, hyperactive teeny-boppers.

And here's because I know you've all been dying to see my face =P

This isn't so much an outfit post,
but I guess I'll throw in a little advice for ya.

Idea #1:
Dress down a fancy jacket
with distressed denim.
