Black & White

Here's a diptych I shot and created for my photography class.
I wanted the theme to be about contrast:

1. Contrast between black and white.
I purposely edited each photograph
super contrast-y because I wanted to emphasize
the black blacks and the white whites.
Mid-tones, in this case, weren't as important.

2. Contrast between perspectives.
The left photo displays the subject from head-to-toe,
whereas the right photo is a close-up of the face.

3. Contrast between lines and shapes.
In the left photo, the lines are much more linear and sharp.
But the right photo has lines that are more soft and rounded.

This isn't a "fashion" photography class but I sort of went in that direction.
Hope you like it : )
